COMMENT    This clone contains 3.8 kb of upstream genomic sequence from the bactin2 gene, plus the first (5' UTR) exon, first intron (1.3 kb), and 8 bp of the second exon (including the end of the 5' UTR and going right up to just before the ATG). Construct generated by Kristen Kwan (Chien lab, University of Utah), using PCR from a ~5 kb bactin2 genomic fragment made by Ken Poss (Keating lab, University of Utah) from a longer clone from Shin-ichi Higashijima. Sequence and annotation 11/6/06 by Chi-Bin Chien, based on genomic sequence and predicted exons from the Sanger Centre.
